MelodicMatch is developed in consultation with musicologists in the School of Music of the Faculty of the VCA and Music of the University of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. The University's Curriculum Licensing Services group markets MelodicMatch through its eShowcase website.

First released in December 2007, MelodicMatch has since undergone a continued program of development, prompted in part by the analytical needs of our users.

Licensing

MelodicMatch is free of charge for download and use in its unregistered form. MelodicMatch registration is available through the University of Melbourne to individuals at a cost of AUD$20.00 each and provides unrestricted access to its complete functionality.  

Institutional registration is available on application.
