======================================================================== MelodicMatch v1.1.2 - Release Notes ======================================================================== --- Installation Instructions ============================= You may install MelodicMatch v1.1.2 alongside previous versions of MelodicMatch. The same Registration Key from MelodicMatch v1.0.0 may be used to register MelodicMatch v1.1.2. See the topic "MelodicMatch Overview | Side-by-side Installation" in the Online Help for full details on running MelodicMatch v1.1.2 alongside previous versions. --- Enhancements ================ MelodicMatch v1.1.2 contains no enhancements since v1.1.0. --- Defect fixes ================ MelodicMatch v1.1.2 addresses the following defects. 1. Corrected resource leaks in dialog boxes that use lists of checkboxes. These dialogs include the Compound Pattern and Display Group editors, and the Relationship List dialog. 2. Corrected an error that can result when Display Groups and Compound Patterns are used in the same search. To reproduce this error in v1.1.1: 1. Create a new search with two patterns. 2. Create two compound patterns, with no patterns assigned to either. 3. Create a display group and assign one pattern to it. 4. Run the search. Correctly, no warnings appear. 5. Click "Relationship | Edit compound patterns" and change the selection in the Name combo. Click OK. 6. Re-run the search; warnings wrongly appear relating to the pattern in the display group. Note that simply installing v1.1.2 will not correct the problem for users who have created searches in v1.1.1. To correct this problem in searches created using MelodicMatch v1.1.1: 1. Open the search in MelodicMatch v1.1.2. 2. On the File menu, click Search Properties. 3. Click the "Empty All Relationships" button, 4, Re-assign the patterns to the relationships. It is not necessary to re-create the patterns or relationships. --- Known defects ================= MelodicMatch v1.1.2 contains the following defects that may be addressed in a future release. 1. The application's default desktop icon may be incorrect in some installations. The correct icon may be selected manually from within the melodicmatch.exe executable file.
